After a surprisingly difficult search to find a black sleeveless shirt with the lowercase Alpha symbol on the front to complete my cosplay outfit for Cato from the Chronicles of Avilésor: War of the Realms series, I decided to create my own a few months ago. On October 18th, I launched the Project Alpha merchandise collection through Teespring, which is a print-on-demand company that supports influencers and entrepreneurs looking to expand their branding opportunities. Fans of the books can purchase a Project Alpha hoodie, T-shirts, tank tops, phone cases, face mask, sticker, tote, or accessory pouch, all offered in a variety of colors.
Now, I’m so excited to unveil the new Kit Collection as well! Kit wins the “who is your favorite character” contest hands down when it comes to popularity, and the Amíynte symbol has come to define the books since it’s printed inside every edition of Phantom’s Mask and all but the first print run of A Fallen Hero.
Kit’s design came from this concept sketch I drew in 2018. In the book, she’s described as a black-and-white kitten with four white paws and a white-tipped tail, but I wanted to sketch out her exact patterns to see what she would look like. The digital rendering follows this same coat pattern and also features the Amínyte symbol imprinted on her ivory pendant in the background:
This design is my own in both concept and execution, © Sara A. Noe LLC 2020. The Kit Collection includes a hoodie, T-shirts, tank tops, fleece blanket, phone cases, decorative pillow, and sticker, all offered in a variety of colors.
These products are, at the moment, available only online. If there is a great enough demand, I may be able to place bulk orders and have certain items available for pickup or book signing events. I do collect profits from orders, but Teespring has its own customer experience team to assist if there are any issues with placing an order, tracking shipments, returning a product, et cetera. For more information on Teespring’s 30-day return and cancellation policy, click here.
I hope you’re as excited as I am to see Kit brought to life from the pages! These two merchandise collections are a start… and there may be more to come in the near future if they perform well enough.

After some time working as a freelance writer, I was shocked by how many website articles are actually written by paid "ghost writers" but published under the byline of a different author. It was a jolt seeing my articles presented as if they were written by a high-profile CEO or an industry expert with decades of experience. I'll be honest; it felt slimy and dishonest. I had none of the credentials readers assumed the author of the article actually had. Ghost writing is a perfectly legal, astonishingly common practice, and now, AI has entered the playing field to further muddy the waters. It's hard to trust who (or what) actually wrote the content you'll read online these days.
That's not the case here at On The Cobblestone Road. I do not and never will pay a ghost writer, then slap my name on their work as if I'd written it. This website is 100% authentic. No outsourcing. No ghost writing. No AI-generated content. It's just me... as it should be.
