2020 was, to put it lightly, a helluva year in many, many ways. It was filled with change and tragedy, anxiety, isolation, and for me, an intense creative drive to keep moving forward while the world seemed to hold still.
I think there’s this expectation that once a book is released, the author is able to sit back, sigh in relief, and relax. But that’s not the case.
