In February, I pledged to donate all of the royalties collected from my books and merchandise to Feeding America to fight food insecurity in the pandemic.
2020 was, to put it lightly, a helluva year in many, many ways. It was filled with change and tragedy, anxiety, isolation, and for me, an intense creative drive to keep moving forward while the world seemed to hold still.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s okay to take a break so you don’t burn out. It’s okay if now isn’t your time to write. Maybe tomorrow will be.
